Here sweet cherries (moreller) cost 2 Euro or 16 N.Kr per kg. They were very fresh and juicy, probably picked the day before. Sweet cherries were introduced to Spain and Europe by the Moors, and originate from China.

Yesterday I was shocked to see that fresh Norwegian sweet cherries cost 128 kr/kg, or eight times more than in Spain.
