Shoe by Shoemaker M.J. Dahl

This shoe was found in the "stubbloft" between the roof and the floor under restoration work on the farm of Grythengen by Skreia. It's a child's shoe, probably from around year 1900, and most likely made by the shoemaker, preacher and farmer Magnus Johansen Dahl at the neighboring farm Holmstadengen. The sole is fastened to the shoe with wooden nails.

This shoe will of course get a special place at the forthcoming Dahls Cafe😊
