Respect Matters More Than Money for Happiness in Life

New research suggests that overall happiness in life is more related to how much you are respected and admired by those around you, not to the status that comes from how much money you have stashed in your bank account. - Science Daily

It doesn't matter if you just have a small fishing boat, if you're respected in your local community you might be happier than Kjell Inge Røkke.

If it wasn't for Røkke though the fisherman would have been even more happy, as he stole the real fishermen's fish.
